SHIPPING INFORMATION

Please allow a couple of extra days when trying to choose your shipping method. USPS - UPS - FEDEX may experience delays which may include but not limited to employee shortages/postal holidays/weather and your package may take a day or two longer to get to you. These delays are beyond my control. Remember USPS only guarantees Express Shipping, UPS only guarantees Next Day Air and FEDEX only guarantees 2 Day AM and Overnight shipping methods.

Location: I am located in Appleton, WI. Shipping available anywhere in the US. Unfortunately at this time I do not offer local pickup or International shipping.

Order Processing: Most orders are processed and shipped out within 1-2 business days; depending on time of day received and volume of daily orders. Please keep in mind processing time may take up to 6 business days if you are requesting a proof or current workload is busy. Orders are only shipped out Monday thru Friday, excluding postal holidays. No orders will be shipped out on Saturdays or Sundays. A shipping confirmation with tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped out.

Proof Processing: If you are requesting a proof to be sent to you before your order is printed and shipped out it will be emailed to the email address on order form within 24-96 hours Monday-Friday, excluding postal holidays and Wednesdays. Processing/shipping may be delayed until approved however if no response is received within 2 days your order may be printed and shipped out within 3-6 business days in order to avoid further delays. Please make sure to include a valid email address on your order form and to check emails frequently to avoid any processing/shipping delays. Emails may go to your spam/junk mail folders, you can avoid this by adding my email address to your contacts:  edibleimages@sweetcustomcreations.com 

Changes After Ordering: If you need to make any changes to your order after you place the order, do NOT place another order, please email me and I can make the changes for you. If you place a duplicate order and then want to cancel the original one, you will be charged a 25% cancellation fee, so please email me first if you need to make any changes.

Shipping days are only estimates unless stated as guaranteed. Shipping delivery times will vary and I cannot be responsible for postal delays. Keep in mind USPS, UPS and FEDEX do not include Saturday/Sunday and postal holidays as business days, and they do not count the day your order is shipped out when estimating time frame to receive.

Shipping estimates do NOT include processing time. Processing time is 1-6 business days Monday-Friday, excluding postal holidays.

Due to the varied times that the shipping companies do daily pickups it is NOT guaranteed your order will ship out on the same day you placed it, please keep this in mind especially when you are placing an order with a Next Day or Overnight shipping method. 

All USPS, UPS and FEDEX shipping methods include up to $100 in insurance, if you need to purchase additional insurance please contact me.

Please select the correct shipping method at time of checkout in order to receive your order in time. I will not email you to let you know that you chose the wrong shipping method or need to upgrade the shipping method as I receive hundreds of orders a week and this interrupts processing time. Every order is important to me and I try to get them out as fast as I can.

Sometimes there are unexplained postal delays, especially around any postal holiday, so please take that into account when you choose your shipping method. Shipping time frames are estimates only and not guaranteed unless noted. USPS suspends all guarantees between December 22-25. I know shipping is expensive, and I don't want you to pay extra shipping priorities if you do not need it, however please do not choose something cheaper and expect delivery on time. If your party is important to you, choose the shipping method you need. Remember, plan for the unexpected!

Shipping Address: Please make sure the shipping address you enter on the order form is correct with USPS/UPS. If it is incorrect USPS will send it back to me and I will not resend another one for free or give any refund due to the nature of the item. If it is incorrect and UPS finds the correct address, for example a different zip code UPS will automatically correct the address and charge you $18+ for that change. I try to check the addresses before shipping but that verification process interrupts the processing time so please double check your shipping address on form. I understand typing mistakes happen from time to time but it only takes a few seconds to double check it.

UPS and FEDEX will only ship to valid street addresses they do not deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses.  If shipping to a PO Box or military address you will need to use one of the USPS shipping methods.

Packaging: Edible images are shipped in sturdy cardboard envelopes with DO NOT BEND stickers on both sides to ensure your topper is not damaged during shipment. Your edible image is sealed in a plastic ziplock bag and a sheet with detailed instructions and tips on how to apply your topper is included.

Cancellations: Unfortunately once your order has entered the processing stage you will not be able to cancel your order. If you cancel the order before the processing stage there is a 25% cancellation fee to cover the charges I incur. Please ensure you are committed to ordering, as this policy is non-negotiable.

Return Policy: ALL SALES ARE FINAL! I do not accept returns or give refunds on edible images due to the nature of the item. If there is an error on my part I will send you a replacement. I do not give refunds on items that are not received on time due to the postal delays so please choose the appropriate shipping method you need at time of checkout. Remember postal estimates do NOT include processing times.

Reversed Charges:  You agree that, if you dispute a charge with your credit card company, you will pay any charge back costs incurred related to reversed charges as well as the initial charge you are disputing. 

Delayed/Received Late: Please understand once your package has been scanned and in the possession of USPS/UPS/FEDEX, I have no control over the operations or efficiency of the postal service. I can only provide you with the tracking number for your order. You will need to contact USPS/UPS/FEDEX for more information and/or file a claim with them.

Damaged: Images are packaged and protected very well and I have an extremely low rate of damages. However, it does occur on occasion. If your product is damaged during shipment please email me a photo of the damaged edible image to edibleimages@sweetcustomcreations.com and you will receive a replacement edible image or a store credit minus shipping cost. No replacements or refunds will be given for any damages caused while applying the edible image so please read the detailed instructions carefully and ask any questions before applying.

If your product is damaged during shipment you will need to contact USPS/UPS/FEDEX and file a damage claim.

Lost or Stolen: If your order is lost or stolen please file a claim with USPS/UPS/FEDEX. Refunds will not be given for any returned orders, so please make sure your address is correct. 

Returned to Sender: Orders that are returned to me due to no fault of my own will not be reshipped. I don't physically receive these items as they go to a digital mailbox and they are shredded there. If an order is returned to me and I am at fault I will reship you a new order. Refunds will not be given for any returned orders, so please make sure your address on order form is correct.

ABOUT EDIBLE IMAGE SHEETS

• Edible images are printed on premium icing/frosting sheets (not rice paper) with high quality edible ink. 
• These icing sheets are thick, extremely flexible, stand up in all climates, and offer easy peel backing. They are the highest quality icing sheets on the market.
• Frosting sheets are FDA approved and Kosher Certified.
• Allergen-Gluten-Dairy-Nut-Soy FREE. Do NOT contain any allergen ingredients.
• Icing sheets are made of sugar and taste great. Ingredients: starches, maltodextrin, glycerin, sugar, water, stabilizer, dextrose, emulsifiers, food color, vanilla flavor, preservatives, sucralose.
• Use on cakes, cupcakes, cookies, fondant, ice cream cakes and many more frosted treats.
• Shelf life up to 24 months when stored properly.
• Due to the software/templates used I am only able to do 1 image per sheet (example the 4x6" rectangles have 2 on a sheet and will need to be the same exact image; applies to all sizes)
• Please note images are NOT pre cut. There will be a faint black line around the images in the size that you order. Frosting sheets are easy to cut/trim with scissors, paper punches or an xacto knife. .
• Image orientation will be printed as shown in the sample: meaning if the sample image is Vertical (up and down portrait) it will be printed on the frosting sheet that way, if the sample image is Horizontal (left to right landscape) it will be printed that way on frosting sheet. If you want it printed differently please add a note on the order form so I know.
• If you are wanting to give a bakery or other outside company the printed edible image to use please double check with that company about their policies before ordering to make sure they will do it for you as some of them have certain policies on what they are allowed to use. I do NOT claim ownership of any licensed graphics, they are for inspiration only. It is very important to note that copyright restrictions on licensed images only permit graphics to be used for one time personal use such as birthday parties. Not all bakeries/companies are aware of this policy and if you have issues with a bakery/company refusing to use the edible image, please try another bakery/company or apply the edible image yourself. There will be NO copyright release from me, so please make sure the bakery/company you'll be using doesn't need any of this. I am not liable for any issues between you and the bakery/company you are wanting to use. You can either find another bakery/company or apply the image yourself. NO refund will be given if your bakery/company refuses to use the image.

• Round Cakes: Take diameter and multiply by pi (3.14). Example: An 8" round cake would be 8 x 3.14 = 25.12"

**All images will have a thin black cutting line around them as they are not pre cut. You can easily cut/trim them with scissors, an xacto knife or paper punch. 

***The size is a personal preference. If you know the dimensions of the cake or where you want to place the image(s) just decide from there how big/small you want the image(s) to be. If you want it to go all the way around you will need to know the exact measurements length wise all the way around the cake and then the height that you want it to be. I have 70+ different sizes available in the drop down list and if you need a custom size that you don't see I can do that as well, just let me know.

PERSONALIZATION MESSAGE

• Images can be personalized with a message for any occasion.
• Personalization is optional and is included, NO extra charge.
• Put your personalization message that you would like to appear on your image in the box that says "Personalization Message" found on the item you want to order.
• To avoid multiple proofs and processing delays please type your "personalization message" exactly how you want it, in the box on order form and make sure to add any special instructions such as font color, type, placing on image etc.  
• If you don't want the image personalized just leave the box blank.
• If you are requesting a proof to be sent to you of your personalized image before shipping out, it will be typed up and emailed to the email address on order form within 24-96 hours Monday-Friday, excluding postal holidays and Wednesdays.

DIGITAL FILES

• A digital file is a file that is emailed to you and then you can print it out yourself or take it to a photo lab/bakery to have it printed.
• No physical item will be shipped to you when you order the "digital file"
• Digital files will be emailed to the email address on your order form within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday, excluding Wed/Sat/Sun/Holidays.
• If you are requesting personalization on the digital file image, it will be manually typed up and a sample will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday (excluding Wed/Sat/Sun/Holidays) to proof before the final digital file is sent to you.
• Add my email address to your contacts so you receive the emails in your inbox and they don't get lost in your spam/junk mail folder:  edibleimages@sweetcustomcreations.com 
• Digital files are NOT edible unless you have them printed on frosting sheets with a cake printer and edible ink (some bakeries can do this for you).
• If printing at a photo lab/bakery please check with them first about their printing policies for the specific image before ordering to make sure you will be able to print it there as some of them have certain policies on what they are allowed to print. Refunds are not given on digital files for any reason due to the nature of the item.
• Please note most sizes are printed on 8.5x11" paper size except for these: 1/2 sheet will need to be printed on an 8.5x14 legal size paper, 10" round and the Full sheet will need to be printed on 11x17" paper size (need wide format printer for these). 
• I do NOT claim ownership of any licensed graphics, they are for inspiration only. It is very important to note that copyright restrictions on licensed images only permit graphics to be used for one time personal use such as birthday parties. Not all photo lab/bakeries are aware of this policy and if you have issues with a photo lab/bakery refusing to print for you, please try another local photo lab/bakery or print at home yourself. There will be NO copyright release from me, so please make sure the printing company/bakery you'll be using doesn't need any of this. I am not liable for any printing issues between you and the printing agency/company. You can either find another printing company or print it yourself at home. NO refund will be given if your print shop/bakery refuses to print your purchased digital file. 

SAVING AND DOWNLOADING YOUR FILE(S):

• Click on the attachment in your email and save/download the file to your computer, USB flash drive or disk. From there you can print to your home computer, upload to an online printing vendor or take into a printing vendor/bakery to have printed for you. 
• Keep in mind that cell phone and iPad providers tend to condense/reduce attachments/files sizes. This may be due to the storage space allotted on the devices. Not sure. This may cause issues when trying to upload to an online printing vendor as the file may no longer be the original 300 DPI file size required by online printing vendors. My recommendation is to upload/download the file(s) from a computer to eliminate this issue.

WHY IS MY FILE NOT PRINTING CORRECTLY:

• Please keep in mind that I create the files to have printed and I'm not responsible for the printing aspect of the files. That is solely the responsibility of the buyer due to the many variables listed below that are out of my control as you are not using my services for printing. I am in no way affiliated with the outcome.
• Your files will print "exactly" as they view. If they look different in any way once printed, that's a technical issue with your printing vendor NOT the files sent to you. As jpg and png files can't physically alter in any way as I only work with crisp and authentic graphics and fonts. 
• When your file(s) view crisply but "PRINT" blurry, 99.9% of the time that means that the file(s) were saved incorrectly (see tips above under saving and downloading your files).
• Your printing vendor is not printing the file(s) at the best quality or as a 300dpi high resolution file. If you're not pleased with the outcome of their printing, Tell them you'd like your files printed at a better quality or ask for a manager. It's well known that employees are not trained properly back in the printing departments of many well known retailers. It is not uncommon for your file to not print correctly. So be sure to get a manager involved if you are not satisfied. 
• Your printing vendor requires borders or bleed lines. Your file does not come with borders or bleed lines.
• Do not save the file from a cell phone or iPad as your providers tend to condense the file as needed for their small devices. To ensure integrity of the files please be sure to save the file from a computer.
• Colors may vary from one computer monitor to another, quality of printer used as well as many different types or brands of paper and ink you're printing with. I am not responsible for the resulting color variations due to the many variables involved.

PRINTING WITH ONLINE OR WALK-IN VENDORS:

• Please keep in mind that I create the files to have printed and I'm not responsible for the printing aspect of the files. That is solely the responsibility of the buyer.
• Some printing vendors require white borders or bleed borders. My images do not come with them and come exactly as shown in the listings. No exception.
• If you're using an online vendor or walk-in photo lab/bakery to print out your printables, please call them to ask about their uploading processes as I'm unaware of how that vendor may operate and is a completely different service than I offer.
• Your files will print exactly as they view (without any watermark lines). If they look different in any way once printed, that's a technical issue with your printing vendor NOT the files sent to you. As jpg and png files can't physically alter in any way. For example, if the files "view" crisply but "print" blurry, that means that the files were saved incorrectly and you're printing a lower resolution than provided to you. You will need to go back to the original files sent to you and follow the instructions provided to properly save them. If the files printed in slightly different colors, that is due to the quality of the printer being used to print your images and/or how their printers/printer settings are calibrated to receive and print colors.
• Note, if you have a lab print them, you may need to ask them to print your order without the "auto correct" so the colors print appropriately.
• Colors may vary from one computer monitor to another, quality of printer used as well as the many different types or brands of paper and ink you're printing with. I am not responsible for the resulting color variations due to the many variables involved.

PRINTING COPYRIGHT IMAGES USED ON PRINTABLES:

• Many photo labs/bakeries are unable to print these popular party printables due to the copyright images used on them so it's best NOT to call them ahead of time informing them of your printing project. Below is a listing of professional printing vendors provided by feedback received from previous clients that will help you in finding locations to print them at.
• If any of the locations are unable to print your project, many of my clients will go to a different location (either same vendor down the street or different entirely) and have had great success printing.
• Use a printing kiosk to avoid copyright issues. You can avoid such issues by using many store's printing kiosks located in their photo department. These are great because you can immediately print your images and pay at the counter hassle free (some places like Walmart will give you a free envelope upon checking out). 
• Popular places to print: walgreens.com, cvs.com, vistaprint.com, Walmart, Target, Shutterfly, Sam's Club and some Costco and Kinko loacations. 
• Places that may not print (but try them just in case): Some Walmart, Costco and Kinko's locations and most Staples, Office Depot, Office Max locations.
• Printing on 8.5x11" sheets: Target, Costco, Sams Club, Walgreens.com, CVS.com, Walmart, Kinkos, some Staples, Office Max and Office Depot locations.
• Walk-in Printing: Order on CVS.com or Walmart.com and you can walk in right away to pick up your prints, some Staples, Office Max and some Office Depot locations.
• Overnight Printing: Walmart, Kinkos, some Staples, Office Max and some Office Depot locations.

PRINTING TIPS IF PRINTING AT HOME:

• Please keep in mind that I am ONLY responsible for creating the files to have printed and I'm not responsible for the printing aspect of the files. That is solely the responsibility of the buyer and are expected to have basic printing knowledge. 
• Your files will print exactly as they view (without any watermark lines). If they look differently in any way once printed, that's a technical issue with your printer/printer settings NOT the files sent to you. As jpg and png files can't physically alter in any way. For example, if the files "view" crisply but "print" blurry, that means that files were saved incorrectly and your printing a lower resolution than provided. If a portion of the file is printing, that's an indication that you'll need to select "fit to page" in your printer settings so that it'll print the entire page. If the files are printing in slightly different colors, you might want to check the ink cartridges to see if they need to be replacement or adjust the intensity settings on your printer. Generally, these solutions always solve these common problems.
• Colors may vary from one computer monitor to another, quality of printer used as well as the many different types of brands of paper and ink you're printing with. I am not responsible for the resulting color variations due to the many variables involved.
• All files are 300dpi high resolution files that are (huge) for professional printing quality, but print at the requested size you choose. If your files are printing at a different size, go back and print from the files originally emailed to you from a computer (not a cell phone or iPad) and try printing again. Be sure to "fit to page" if needed. 
• Most common printing issue before printing go to your printer settings and look for the wording that looks something like "fit to page" and select that option. Otherwise, you may print a large portion of the printable you're trying to print. 
• You might also verify in the paper size settings of the software you're printing with that the page size you are feeding into the printer is the size of the printable you're trying to print. 
• Please note most sizes are printed on 8.5x11" paper size except for these: 1/2 sheet will need to be printed on an 8.5x14 legal size paper, 10" round and the Full sheet will need to be printed on 11x17" paper size (need wide format printer for these). 
• Also set your margin settings to "0" and it will automatically default to the smallest margin setting the software will allow so that as much as the printable will print for you. Photo printers allow you to print to the edge of the paper leaving no white border. Please check printer settings to change to borderless printing option.

Tips on Storing, Handling and Applying your Edible Images

Images are printed on an actual layer of icing with edible inks. The icing is held together by a plastic backing sheet that you will remove before applying the image to your frosted treats. The frosting image only has 1 plastic backing sheet, once this backing sheet is removed, it is ready to be applied.

STORAGE:  Keep your frosting sheet sealed in the zip-lock bag that it comes in until you are ready to use it. Store flat on a shelf, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life of frosting sheets is about 24 months if stored properly. Do NOT put the image in the fridge or freezer as this will cause the sheet to dry out and crack.

NOTE:  Some edible images may have light/faint black edible ink lines going through them, this is normal for thicker frosting sheets and should fade once they are melted into the frosting.

CUTTING IMAGE SHEETS:  Edible images are NOT precut. Images will have a black cutting line around them so you can easily cut/trim your images to size. You can trim off any white borders as well if you’d like. Just use a clean pair of scissors to cut/trim frosting sheets before you remove the plastic backing sheet.

WHEN TO APPLY:  If you are using butter cream or any other harder frosting, the image can be placed on at your convenience, but not more than 48 hours prior to the event. Depending on how wet your frosting is, the image will begin to fade with too much moisture. If you are concerned about fading, place the image on the cake within an hour of the event.

HOW TO APPLY:  Do NOT let water come in contact with the edible image before or after on the cake. The sheet will melt and ruin the print. Make sure your hands are clean and dry before handling the image. Your frosting should be fresh. If your frosting becomes dry, spray a fine mist of water over the frosting NOT the image, before applying the image to your frosted treat. If your treats surface is moist, do NOT add any extra moisture. Using too much water may cause colors to run and melt your image. Edible images will not melt into frosting if the frosting is too dry.

Edible images can’t be moved once applied. Plan where you want the image to be placed. Gently peel icing image from the plastic backing sheet, should peel away easily. If any difficulty removing, pull backing sheet over the sharp edge of a table to loosen your image and the icing sheet should come away from the backing sheet. Never pull on the image itself as it can tear.

Lay the edible image sheet on your frosted treat by holding ends and gently applying from the middle first to the ends. Gently smooth out the edible image making sure the edges are touching frosting.  If the image bubbles after application GENTLY TAP (do NOT rub) the image. It will take 20-30 minutes for the image to melt into the frosting (could take longer) depending on frosting, so allow time and be patient. If you touch it, you may leave a fingerprint just like frosting does. Add a piped border or edge decorations of your choice to finish.

Once the sheet is fully applied, let it rest for a bit at room temperature and let the cake sweat a bit. Doesn’t take long. This will bring out those air bubbles (hopefully minimal). For the ones that are noticeable you can take a small pin (straight pin) and pop the air bubble and smooth it out – just like you would for air bubbles in fondant. Just a small poke and then you should be able to smooth out the air bubble without wrinkling it. You can store the finished treat in the refrigerator to keep image moist and free of cracks until serving. Avoid extensive exposure to ultraviolet lighting. As with any food coloring, the image may fade over time.

USE ON:  You can apply to any colored frosting as these are the thicker premium sheets. However if you are still concerned that the dark colors might show through the image you can always put the image on a thin piece of fondant then onto your frosting treat.

Butter Cream Frosting - Apply image right after icing the cake. Butter cream icings will form a thin crust after 15-30 minutes. If butter cream has formed a crust, spray with a fine mist of sugar water or brush corn syrup on butter cream icing before applying the image.

Whipped Toppings – Do NOT add extra moisture. Because of the high-water content in whipped cream, you should apply the edible image as close to serving time as possible. Any type of frosting that has very high moisture content will tend to cause bleeding. A thin coating of butter cream can be added where the image is to be placed to avoid bleeding/fading.

Ice Cream Cake - If applying the image to an ice cream cake iced with non-dairy whipped topping, Do NOT add any additional water. If you are applying the image directly to ice cream, it is best to allow the ice cream to "sweat" a little bit before applying the image or mist the ice cream with milk before applying the image. If you are working with soft-serve ice cream you will achieve better results by applying image while the ice cream is soft, then freeze. If the image bubbles after application or during freezing, GENTLY TAP (do NOT rub) the image. If the decorated cake is frozen thaw slowly, preferably in a refrigerator. As with any food coloring, the image may fade over time.

Sugar Paste or Fondant – Use a small brush to apply water only where image will be placed. Water outside image area may leave a mark on your fondant (though tend to dry back to normal color).

Royal Icing – Its best to apply your image immediately after icing your product, since it has not hardened completely. If not, add a generous mist of water over royal icing before applying the image.

Poured Chocolate or Ganache - Pour icing over product then apply image while icing is wet. Let image set before moving.

Regular/Store Bought Frosting – If using store bought frosting or using frosting that has been stored in the fridge, take it out and blend in a bowl until it is soft and creamy. You may have to mist the top of layered frosting with sugar water to get it moist for your icing sheet.

Frozen Cakes – Thaw slightly before icing to avoid cracking, then apply the image. If decorated cake is frozen thaw slowly, preferably in a refrigerator, uncovered to avoid running of colors and sweating.

Cookies – There are several ways to adorn decals to cookies. Regular icing, frosting, royal icing, or corn syrup thinned with a little water will adhere the image to most cookies.

Oreo Cookies – Apply corn syrup thinned with a bit of water to the chocolate cookie and place the edible image on top.

Hard candy lollipops – Lightly coat the lollipop with corn syrup thinned with a little water, apply the image on top.

Chocolate – Corn syrup, thinned with a little water, applied to the bar works well or heat the chocolate with a hair dryer for about 20 seconds. Apply the edible image on top.

TIPS: 

• Frosting or icing should not be dry or have a skin before applying image. Edible image will not melt if too dry.
• Images should not be refrigerated until applied to frosted treats.
• The icing sheet will have either no taste or a slight vanilla flavor. It is safe to eat directly off the backing and does not require being placed on treats.
